I am very happy to write a this on behalf of Laurie. She not only likes animals, she loves them. I think if Laurie were able, she'd open a refuge for wayward fur babies. I know very few people with the level of love and compassion for animals that Laurie has. As for trusting her in your home, I say with absolute certainty, Laurie will treat your home with the same care as she does her own. She knows the value you place on your possessions is not measured in dollars and cents. Having recently sold her own lovely home, Laurie is ready to start a new chapter in her life and looking for new adventures. Help her do that, I guarantee you will be not be disappointed.

Laurie is our preferred dog sitter, always. SHe is always willing to move in and cater to their needs...we have 2 rescued terriers whom she showers with love and attention for a week or two at a time if necessary, We much prefer having someone we know and trust to care for our dogs, the only way we can feel comfortable to go away on trips. They have never been put in a kennel and we cannot imagine doing that to them. Because her job allows her to work from anywhere that has internet, she is free to temporarily move in to dog lovers' homes and do her thing. She had her own dog, Cooper, for 16 years. He was a not very healthy little lovable Pomeranian who required constant vet visits and careful administration of medecine throughout his life. Laurie made him her first priority for those 16 years, choosing not to travel because he could not. Now she is free to travel and taking care of thers' beloved pets is an ideal way for her to do that!

As Laurie’s sister, I have seen first hand her love of animals, but dogs especially. In addition to this, the dedication and care she provided her dog Cooper for 16 years before his passing last winter was amazing. He became diabetic, then blind, and shortly after deaf. She did everything she could to give him a happy and healthy life for as long as possible. There is no doubt in my mind that Laurie’s care for a client’s pet would be as if she were caring for her own.
