I currently run a 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue organization in Lackawanna county called TT’s Rescue Squad. I also am an active volunteer with numerous other local pet rescues. I do house some fully vetted rescue and resident kitties that are all friendly with my dog guests. I have cared for animals my whole life. While your dog is in my care I will also provide basic obedience and puppy training/socialization. I am well known in my local area rescue community and can provide numerous personal references. I attended a technical school and received a certificate in animal science. I recently attended a pet first aid class. **About my home/services** All Doggie Guests Must be Dog, People, and kid friendly. I host Doggie Daycare in my home daily and it’s very important all dogs are friendly with other dogs. Due to the fact that Cats do reside in my home I request an honest heads up for house guests that are not cat friendly so I can ensure a safe environment for my cats in advance, my cats have been socialized with small and large dogs and are very friendly and trusting of dogs. Cats are allowed to free roam with all dog guests during their stay unless advance plans are made.

Laurene took good care of our dog while we went skiing!
Laurene is a sweetheart and did everything in her power to make Sammy as comfortable as possible during his stay, since he was very anxious and out of sorts. Highly recommended!
Lucy enjoyed staying at Laurene’s very much for two days in a row while we went skiing at Montage. Laurene was very flexible with drop off and pick up times and Lucy got along well with the other dog she was watching at the time.
Well, my dog Darwin may like Laurene's house more than my own! I knew he was in good hands when we arrived to a bin full of toys, a bowl full of water, and Laurene's calm, light hearted demeanor. He stayed one night, but got so much play time that he passed out when I took him home the next day! I love knowing that he got Laurene's individualized care and attention. I wouldn't search for anyone else to watch him; she is the best!
I booked with Laurene after my dog had a bad experience at one of the new local boarders. Lucy isn't used to that much noise or other dogs that she was exposed to there and came home with extreme anxiety. So knowing I was going on vacation in 2 months I had to find someone better, which led me to Rover.com! I found Laurene and after reading her reviews I knew I found a great dog boarder. Lucy enjoyed her stay and I had no worries whatsoever and I will definitely book again with Laurene.
Daisy had a great time and was very well taken care of. Will surely use again.

I am home all day. Your pet will not be left alone during daycare hours and never longer then a shopping / grocery trip while boarding.

I have a securely fenced in yard that is very well maintained and also gates throughout the house to prevent accidental escaping when doors are opened.

A typical day
while I’m my care I provide tons of toys and always have a variety of healthy treats. Dogs are aloud to play in my home and yard. And furniture is never off limits unless you prefer home rules to stay in effect during their stay.
