I am currently taking a break from work before I start vet school. I am free every day but volunteer Thursday mornings and afternoons with a 3 hour break between. Volunteering is flexible depending on your pets’ schedules.

I typically provide drop in services for feeding, walking, cleaning, and medicating. Clients provide written instructions to follow and I will also do a visit beforehand to get to know you and your pet! I also do overnight care in the clients home. Care in my home is not provided due to two senior chihuahuas with medical issues.

Pet care experience
Hello! I am a vet student and will be home for the summer. I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 2022 and majored in Animal Science, Pre-vet. I have worked at 2 animal hospitals and most recently worked as a vet tech at an ER and specialty hospital. I am able to medicate and work with difficult, disabled, or senior pets. I have pet sat for friends, family and neighbors for several years. I have owned dogs since I was 8 years old and have had 4 dogs-2 chihuahua mixes, a Shih tzu mix, and a pit bull German shepherd mix. I would love to care for your pets and will be sure to give them lots of love!

Lauren was able to accommodate our last minute request since the previous sitter we booked was unresponsive literally a day before our trip. She was quick to reply and aware of our situation, we greatly appreciate she making the time to take care of Pão and Koko during our trip! Lauren is an amazing pet sitter, my cat Pão is a little shy but she made her completely comfortable during the whole time! She also took care of everything else super well (even taking in packages we received when away) that we greatly appreciate, and followed all our instructions for care without missing anything. I will definitely book Lauren again since we had an awesome experience with her, and I highly recommend her as your next sitter!

Lauren has been sitting for us for a few months now, and our pups LOVE her! We have a 16 y/o Schnoodle with Heart Disease (along with a laundry list of healthy issues) and a 4 y/o Aussie Doodle. Lauren's vet med background and patience with the pups (especially our Senior pup) have given us so much peace of mind knowing they are with someone who genuinely cares and has the medical knowledge to keep an eye out for anything that seems out of the ordinary. She house-sat for us for about a week and was very respectful of our space, keeping it clean and tidy. We are so fortunate to have found Lauren and highly recommend her for all the services she provides!
First time with Lauren and I will say that she did an AMAZING job staying over and taking care of my 2 dogs and house! She accommodated our very early departure time and again on our arrival back home. Your pets will be in great hands with her and I highly recommend her. I will not hesitate to call on her services in the future.
