I am a passionate dog lover with extensive experience as my father is a veterinarian at Cornell University and I have been volunteering with many animal projects since I was a child. Furthermore, I used to participate in dog sled racing and recently finished an internship working with over 100 sled dogs, letting them out, training, feeding, and handling them. My family currently owns one dog yet in the past we have owned up to 26, and I have single handedly cared for 10 at a time. I have been pet sitting for 4 years, am dog CPR certified, and can administer oral medication if needed. I have worked with dogs and cats of all sizes, and am most comfortable with large and medium sized dogs

I try to keep routine as usual so that pets have an easy transition of care. I’m great at engaging with active pets or lounging with older/special needs pets.

Lauren was an extremely caring and empathetic caretaker for my elderly cat. She was very attentive to his complex needs and provided me with detailed information about his well being when I was overseas. I really appreciate all she did while taking care of him. I highly recommend her to take care of your beloved fur family members.
Lauren is warm and caring. We had an emergency and she took great care of our precious Biscuit for days; walking him and sending us pics and updates. Would highly recommend her!
Lauren was wonderful! She took on my request very last minute and communicated well every step of the way! She shared pictures every day and I felt very comfortable leaving my baby boy with her for 5 days. I will definitely use Lauren in the future!
Lauren was prompt in answering my request and my pups loved her immediately. And while the pups are sweet, they are large and she had no concerns and just loved on them I instantly. I received updates as much as I needed to and photos as well. The house was clean and the pups were happy when we returned. Highly recommend Lauren!!
I can not say enough good things about Lauren! She has watch my 4 year old Doxle Sadie numerous times. She is so caring, kind, communicated with me often and showed my Sadie a lot of love and attention. Sadie can be timid with new people and warmed up to Lauren quickly. I will definitely be using Lauren again, thank you for taking such good care of my girl!
Lauren grew up with dogs from the time she was born as her family owned approximately 16 sled dogs and she was a avid sled dog driver during her elementary school years before her family moved and retired many of the dogs. She was involved in the daily care of all these dogs on a regular basis and has always been comfortable around dogs. She and her family pet dog are now currently the best of friends and she is an advocate of all dogs health, behavioral and physical well being. She is compassionate, kind, and can handle dogs with medical conditions as well growing up in a veterinary family.

Schedule
I work from home and regularly travel/watch pets using the trusted Housesitter app. My schedule consists of assigned task, so I will be able to walk and give love to your furry family throughout the day.
