Dog Mama & Training Enthusiast

Best Response Hours: M-F 10am - 8pm I've been an animal lover since I can remember, and I continue to develop that passion by pet sitting, dog walking, dog training, and horseback riding! I specialize in caring for and training dogs, including those with reactivity, anxiety, and behavior that requires special attention. I grew up with a large dog that I had begged my parents for, and it was through him that I learned how to properly care for a dog. I have been a pet sitter for several neighbors since I was a teen, and I worked for a local pet sitting and dog walking business where I gained extensive experience caring for all sorts of breeds, sizes, and temperaments of dogs and cats. I adopted my own dog, Willow, in the beginning of 2021. She was estimated to be about 3 years old and she had behavioral issues including reactivity and anxiety. My goal had been to save and change a dog's life for the better, so I was up for the challenge of Willow. I continue to meet that goal each and every day with Willow, and I am so proud of our hard work and dedication. We continue to attend training classes and pack walks, and also enjoy learning new tricks and competing in dock diving! Working with Willow has developed my passion for helping more dogs. I have such a personal, daily experience caring for and training my reactive dog, and I'm excited to extend my knowledge and experience to help care for your pets, too. At the end of the day, it's most important to me that your pet feels loved and is happily cared for. I look forward to treating your furry family members as if they were my own!

Safety, trust & environment

I aim to make every dog feel safe and content during my time caring for them. I carry safety tools with me on all walks to protect your furry family member and I from any possible unwelcome harm outside (i.e off leash dogs, etc.). I do not allow anyone, whether it be a stranger or a familiar neighborhood face (both human and animal form) to say hello to us up close while your dog is in my care.

Lauren was lovely. She was communicative about the cats and followed my directions perfectly. She even brought in a package that got delivered while I was away.

Was very helpful when one of my cats was being difficult about taking new medications. Very communicative and prompt, and sweet to the kitties.

Dog Walking • Nov 13, 2025

Do not recommend! After my meet and greet with Lauren she seemed lovely and booked with her knowing that she is also a trainer and familiar with reactive dogs as my dog barks at other dogs and cats. After she accepted my booking she canceled it saying her rates were wrong. I had no other choice but to rebook as I did not have a back up walker. After 2 days into the booking she requested a muzzle so I got her one. She said sometimes the reactive ness could turn into biting and just as a precaution she prefer having one. No problem. I then rebooked another week but instead of 1 hr walks I booked 30 min walks. Everything g was fine until the second day Lauren said that my dog was not properly introduced to her muzzle or crate and she didn’t feel safe walking g her anymore. Then contacted me saying she knows that I am working g with another trainer but would be happy for her and another Rover walker to train my dog. Why if you feel unsafe would cancel mid week booking but ask to train her? I highly recommend finding someone else.

I'd love to hear all the details for how you best care for your pup so I can do the same for them in your absence. I am well versed in using various collars/leashes/training tools, so if you have anything specific you use with your pet, I'd like to keep that consistency. I'm happy to work with your dog that has special needs or behavior that requires special attention. Please let me know of any triggers, prey drive, allergies, medication needs, major medical info, best walking routes, favorite treats, and best place to get pets and scratches!
