Dog lover who works from home!
Hi! We're Lauren & Matt. We've been caring for dogs through Rover since 2020, but took a short break after adopting our own rescue pup, Winston. Now that he's settled into his new home, we're excited to welcome doggy guests again! Winston's favorite days are the ones when he has a furry friend to play with. The dog park is his happy place, and he'd love to have your pup join him for a sleepover or daycare! He's incredibly friendly and has never met a dog he didn't want to be friends with. He's never shown any aggression toward other dogs, but because he's always ready to play, he does best with other social pups. Sometimes he doesn't quite know how to read the room when another dog isn't interested in becoming his best friend! 🐶 Our Experience We both grew up with dogs, so caring for them has always been part of our lives. We've looked after dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. To make sure every doggy guest gets plenty of attention and a low-stress environment, we only host one family's dog(s) at a time. If you have multiple dogs, we're happy to accommodate them together! 🏡 Our Home Lauren works from home full-time, so your pup will have company throughout the day and is rarely left alone for more than 1–2 hours. Our home has plenty of space to separate dogs if needed, a fully fenced backyard for safe playtime, and no kids or cats. We also go on at least two walks every day (weather permitting), plus lots of playtime and cuddles. Your dogs will be treated as our own on their little staycation. We'll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and personalized care, and we'll keep you updated with lots of photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pup is having a great time while you're away!

Lauren and Matt saved my sons wedding! We needed a sitter last minute and Lauren facilitated a meet n greet for us and boarded our pupper within a few days. They treated our girl like she was one of their own and gave her so much love and attention. Shes an anxious pup but they put her at ease and gave her lots of love and attention which really helped. Lauren and Matt were so kind, understanding, and flexible to us and the situation, we cant thank them enough! They were the reason I had the ability to fly out to my sons wedding and was able to attend. Thank you!!

This was my first time using Rover and I was nervous because Dina is a pretty anxious dog. They were very sweet and patient with her though. They sent multiple pictures each day which helped put me at ease. I would definitely recommend!
Lauren did a great job watching our dogs! She was quick to respond and sent us photos and updates.

Schedule
I work from home and only leave for an hour or two each day, so am with the pups 90% of the time! We have a fenced backyard, they can go out as many times as needed, and I'm around to give belly rubs, treats, and attention during the day.

We follow your routine as best as possible! If you crate your dog, we will do the same, if you don't, we won't! We don't leave the pups outside alone, but we will give them as many breakouts outside as needed!

A typical day
Weather permitting, we start and end the day with a walk to get Winston's wiggles out! Winston eats morning + night, but we're happy to follow your pups feeding schedule for them while they are here. If your dog enjoys the dog park, we love to take them there too to give them space to run!
