Certified Dog Trainer & Lover

I am a ABC certified dog trainer, and worked in dog rescue and foster care for more than 3 years assessing and evaluating dogs and managing behavioral issues that arose with dogs in foster care. I have experience in dog behavior and understand dogs with stress or anxiety issues, and that some dogs may require a deft hand. I will use calming techniques for dogs that seem stressed. I have a medical background as well and regularly administer all types of medications to pups with my rescue work. I am a therapist as well and bring a background of mental health for humans as well as our pets.

Drop-In Visits • Sep 09, 2018

Lauren was great! She was able to make several visits during the weekend with only a couple of days notice. This was my first time leaving my dogs overnight, and 2 of them are pretty high energy, but when I got back home after being gone for 40 hours, I could tell they were well taken care of in my absense. It seems Lauren loved them like the were her own.

Lauren has been a friend to me and my pets for over 10 years, and I can't think of a better, more caring dog lady for your four-legged family members. She is a certified dog trainer and helps run a dog rescue nonprofit, spending several hours of her free time every week vetting shelter dogs and making sure they get released into safe and loving fosters/forever homes. She is a regular foster mom and has experience with ALL kinds of dogs, including those with difficult or "unique" personalities (for instance, she is the only outside person besides me or my husband who can calmly be around my own crazy dog, who freaks out at guests). She sincerely loves every dog she meets and is so patient, calm, and caring with her rescue pups. You won't find a more perfect dog sitter than Lauren!
