I specialize in pets who may need some extra tlc in their journey. Maybe they’ve just overcome an illness, in the middle of pup training, have special dietary needs, struggle with separation anxiety. As a result, agreed upon for overnight and/or extended stays as appropriate at your home are more ideal. To be fair to you and your pet I will only take on 3 - 4 regular clients, but happy to take on the last minute and occasional bookings if my calendar is open.

I will follow your routine with your animal and use crate methods if that's what you use, grazing or scheduled feed times, separating or giving space to combo pet homes as necessary. I’m comfortable with transport and adventures as long as I have your expressed permission. I have an inventory checklist to gather all the information I need so I have a better understanding of your pet's favorites, their allergies, and other important information too!

I don’t have a breed preference, I actually enjoy the range and variety of dogs and cats. I’d love to know any allergies or dietary restrictions they have or medications they require, emergency veterinary, if they have any favorite toys and treats, commands you love to use or are working on and if doing an overnight if they have a favorite sleeping spot.
A typical day
A typical day is nice walks, with time to sniff and take in their surroundings, games that help stimulate and encourage good behavior, lots of snuggles and cuddles, time to relax and time to follow any routines or activities that you are currently doing with your pet.

Pet care experience
Belle Love = I had a very special Great Dane named Belle (affectionately known as Belle Belle) for 10 years who passed in 2022. She taught me how to listen, hear and communicate with animals. Sure, some will say it’s always been there and in me - I grew up with rescues, we trained them, we loved on them, nourished them, healed them, and adventured with them, but Belle taught me the details and opened me up to the exchange that happens between us and them. I was humbled to take care of her until her last breath here and today I am able to share with others what she gave me. Additionally along the way I’ve fostered and trained pups and a few felines until they were ready for their forever homes and volunteer at a farm sanctuary. I can walk, check in with, support training instruction and nutrition plans and overall take care of your animal when you're away. I’m capable of helping with the more sensitive ones too, including doing meds, syringes, etc…and with the households where the pups or seniors may need a little more TLC. Lauren was wonderful! A true expert, she was fantastic with our very large puppy. We got just the right amount of communication to know our girl was well cared for without feeling guilty for not bringing her on vacation. Our pup absolutely LOVED being at home instead of boarding and we'll definitely reach out to Lauren again!
Lauren stayed with our dog dog Kobe for three nights and was wonderful! She took great care of him and I can tell he enjoyed her company. We look forward to reaching out to Lauren for our future dog-sitting needs!
