Years of experience in the animal care industry including working in a high-end pet boarding & grooming facility for over 3 years & most recently working as a vet tech since July 2019. On Thanksgiving morning of last year I sustained an injury at work that required surgery to fix. Unfortunately this has resulted in not being able to return to such a high impact/physically demanding job. HOWEVER this has given me the opportunity to offer pet care FULL TIME & I am now able to work around any schedules/times with no worries about having to deny anyone services because of a 9-5 job. No friend is too big or too small- I have experience with them all! Every animal family member I meet holds a special place in my heart; I truly love them all as if they were my own. I pride myself in extensive knowledge of basic dog behavior; I was a dog trainer for almost 2 years. Working in boarding facilities, I have knowledge of how to care for senior pets, as well as pets with special needs. Working in a grooming department has taught me about many different dog breeds & how to handle each pet in a manner in which they feel safe & comfortable. As a veterinary technician I gained immense amounts of knowledge of different diseases, illnesses, treatments, nutrition, medication etc. I am able to administer medications & Subcutaneous fluids if necessary. With so many years of knowledge & experience caring for animals of all species (reptiles, fish, avians, small mammals, birds etc) I am confident in my ability to care for your animal babies as if they were my own! I can’t wait to meet my next new furry, feathered or scaly friend!!
