I work full time (Mon to Friday) but work from home, so I can walk your dog before 9.30am, over lunch time and/or after 5pm. I am also free all weekend. Your dog can stay with me whilst I work from home where I will give them stimulating toys and activities to keep them happy and occupied.

Information Lauren T. would like to know about your pet
Is your dog ok with others dogs? Whether you would prefer boarding in your own home to keep your dog in their own surroundings and routine Has your dog shown any agression or reactivity in the past? This won’t put me off from having them, but I’d like to be aware so I can safeguard your dog and other people.
A typical day
I believe the best way to tire out a dog is through stimulation! I’ve seen this with my own dogs, friends and relatives’ dogs and the dog I’ve fostered. I’ll stimulate your dog through sniff-walks (there’ll be no hurrying them along! They can sniff away!), play, toys and training. I like to put my dog’s meals in toys such as a Kong Wobbler, snuffle Matt, frozen kong and much more to keep him stimulated and to make his meals last longer! I’ll do the same for yours if you’d be happy for me to. I’m surrounded by fields where I can take your dog if they like to run around and chase a ball! Or if your dog is very chilled and just wants a bum scratch or tummy stroke, I will happily oblige! :-)

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs and have a dog of my own - 8.5 year old black Labrador called Limmy. I’m currently studying for a dog training qualification, and have trained 4 dogs (including puppies and rescues). I am very experienced with dogs and am confident. I fostered a Doberman for just over a year, which involved training her and building her confidence. I want to ultimately move towards a career in dog training. I have been an RSPCA trustee since 2019. I have been a professional housesitter for 3 years on Trusted Housesitters (hence the gap in my Rover reviews), looking all animals of all shapes and sizes all over the country: dogs, cats, alpacas, chickens, ducks, rats and rabbits. On my Trusted Housesitters profile, I amassed over 15 5* reviews with multiple repeat customers. Due to personal circumstances, I am now moving away from housesitting and into dog boarding. I am happy to board/walk reactive dogs - however I’d like to meet ahead of the booking to ensure they are ok with my dog.

Reviews

Lauren was amazing with Binky! I got constant updates from her which was lovely as being away from Binky was tough. Honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pet❤️

Really great experience with Lauren! Super communicative before, during and after the booking and took wonderful care of my babies. Absolutely would book again :-)

I cannot recommend Lauren highly enough, she took excellent care of my dog and house. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again

Bella had a great stay with Lauren and was sent updates on how Bella doing when she went out for walks etc and we felt at ease at leaving Bella with Lauren. And Bella was ok to do her own thing just like she would at home and Lauren's dog Limmy is very friendly and easy going with other dogs.
