I'm currently working full-time, Monday-Friday. I am available for a long-term set schedule and for flexible short-term schedules. I am available during the early mornings and in the evenings on weekdays. On the weekends, I am available in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

I am more than happy to walk your pups on leash around the neighborhood or play with them in your fenced-in yard. I am happy to feed dogs, cats, or other pets, during drop in visits and make sure they have water. I'm happy to give treats and play with dogs or cats during drop ins as well. Snuggles and pets are also a must for those animals who like that. For shyer animals, I am happy to give them a bit of space and take it slow with them while making sure that they still get to eat, drink, and potty. I have some experience with ferrets, reptiles, chickens, and fish and am happy to help out non-furry pets as well. If you need your plants watered while you are away or your mail brought inside, I am happy to accommodate requests.

Will any of your animals try to bolt out the door when it is opened? Does your pet experience seizures or any other medical conditions on a regular or daily basis? Does your pet wear diapers and need to be changed multiple times a day?
A typical day
Is your dog a fetch fanatic? Or a tug-of-war champion? Or can your cat do aerial acrobatics to catch a wand toy? I love watching pets have fun. Whether in the house, in the yard, or if they just love going on a long walk -- I am happy to entertain them.

Pet care experience
I grew up in a household with fur-siblings, both cats and dogs (also bunnies, geckos, guinea pigs, and a rat, not to mention many fish friends). I have been the proud mom of my own dogs and cats as an adult. In addition, I fostered dozens of rescue dogs over a 2.5 year period. As a dog owner and foster, I gave countless baths, went on hundreds of walks, and comforted scared and confused dogs in new situations. As an experienced cat mom, I am happy to give ear scritches to cuddly cats, play with energetic cats, or just care quietly for aloof or shy cats.

Lauren was great! She came by for a meet and greet, and the cats were excited to meet her. She asked good questions about their care. Lauren’s updates were comprehensive, and I liked reading about how the cats were doing and seeing the pictures of her playing with them. One of the cats was on a daily liquid medication, and she even included pictures of Rosie taking her medicine. I felt really comfortable leaving my kitties her care. I highly recommend Lauren!
