Hello, I’m Lauren! I work from home in marketing and have a flexible schedule. We live in a house with an unfenced backyard, but when going outside for walks or potty breaks, your dog will always be leashed. Your dog’s safety and happiness is always a priority. I aim to create a stress-free and fun environment for everyone. **Please note - we do have a toddler (3 years old). She has been around dogs since day 1 and has excellent dog manners. Your dog must be okay with possible loud toddler noises 😄 We had the most amazing Mini Australian Shepherd (Mochi) in our lives for 14 years so I know first-hand how to care for senior dogs. While we are not ready for our own dog again, I’m excited to care for your sweet dog. 🐾💕 Our neighborhood is quiet and has a couple of parks nearby.

Our Aussie Mesa had a great time spending a week with Lauren and family. They were great communicators, flexible, and provided many updates and photos throughout the stay. They all seemed to really enjoying having Mesa around and treated her like an extension of the family. I’d definitely board with Lauren again.
Jasper loved staying with Lauren and her family so much! They made him feel right at home and he was comfortable and happy the entire time. Lauren was a great communicator and sent many pictures of Jasper having a great time during his stay. Highly recommend!
Lauren and her family were so great with our dog! We received updates with photos throughout each day, including the frequent exercise. We knew he was well taken care of and will definitely use Lauren again!

Schedule
Both my husband and I work from home. We love going on walks throughout the neighborhood. We have a side yard to use the bathroom quickly, but we always go on leashed walks at least three times a day.

Safety, trust & environment
While I don’t have a fenced yard, I do routinely go on long walks in the the neighborhood. Your dog is welcome on furniture and beds, but feel free to bring anything to make them more comfortable during their stay.
A typical day
I love starting the day with a morning walk in the neighborhood, followed by breakfast and playtime. Naps on the bed or sofa are always okay! Lunchtime walks and treats are next. A little rest while I’m working at home, then off to the park in the evening. Same as above, your dog is welcome to sleep where they are most comfortable.
