I am a veterinary technician with over 3 years of experience, and have recently pivoted my focus from nursing duties at a small veterinary hospital to caring for pets on Rover. With me, you will not only be guaranteed quality pet care, but also reliable communication that gives you peace of mind. I can keenly perceive the signs of potential distress in animals, and I know what to do in cases of emergency or illness. Additionally, I absolutely love any and all pets. I am experienced with administering medication (both oral and injectable), special needs care, senior care, puppy care, kitten care, and everything in between. Due to my advanced skills, you will notice that my rate is a bit higher than other sitters. However, you will be receiving the additional skills and medical/behavioral knowledge that most sitters don't have.

I have extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats and am comfortable working with pets of different ages, temperaments, and care needs. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, walks, potty breaks, enrichment, and household routines so your pet’s schedule can remain as consistent as possible while you’re gone.

Schedule
I work full time as a freelancer remotely, so I can provide pet care exclusively in your pet’s own home, allowing them to stay comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment while you’re away. I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, medication administration, and other care based on your pet’s normal routine. For pets who need a little extra attention, I also offer special-needs care for an extra fee. I’m comfortable caring for senior pets and animals with medical or mobility needs, including administering medications and providing more involved care. When booking, please let me know about your pet’s normal routine, feeding schedule, medications, temperament, exercise needs, and any medical or behavioral concerns I should be aware of. Please also include how frequently you would like me to be in your home (24/7 vs part time) and what you would like completed during each visit. Everyone’s pet is different, and cost will adjust according to needs. Please note: Special-needs care may include an additional $25 per day depending on the level of care required. This may apply to pets who are diabetic, have mobility limitations, require more involved medication administration, or otherwise need additional care beyond a standard visit.

- ***Please note: special needs care will come at an additional ~$25 per day. This includes pets who are diabetic, paraplegic, etc. This fee is to cover the additional services/round the clock care required. Fee may vary depending on level of care.*** ***There is a one hour grace period for late arrivals. Any arrivals after the grace period will be charged an extra $15 fee per hour.*** If your dog is diabetic, special needs, in heat or has special dietary requests etc., please let me know! Also please kindly provide me with proof of vaccination.
