Im a lifelong animal lover and a vet tech at a local veterinary hospital. Animals have brought joy to my life for as long as I can remember! Having worked in multiple different vet clinics and in a variety of animal care roles over the years, I have lots of experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. Animals are my passion and I’m very much looking forward to meeting your furry friend!

I’m a firm believer that positive reinforcement and consistency is the key to happy, balanced, and well-behaved pets. That being said, establishing boundaries is important, both for humans and for pets! My promise is to care for your fur baby as I would my own: with love, understanding, and an appreciation of all the little quirks that make them unique!

Lauren took such good care of my two cats, one of which requires insulin injections twice daily. When our trip was extended due to the Air Canada strike, Lauren was so accommodating. She’s friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable about their unique medical needs. I’ll be using Lauren’s services exclusively whenever I need a cat sitter!
Lauren Singer would be an excellent pet sitter/dog walker on Rover. She has loved and been curious about animals all her life and enjoys spending time with them and caring for them. She recently adopted a senior rescue dog and lovingly cared for him through some difficult health challenges, making his last few years not only bearable, but enjoyable. She has had a variety of pets throughout her life and currently has a cat and a standard poodle. Lauren has a unique ability to understand animal behaviour and why they might behave in a particular way, as well as how to correct unwanted behaviours. I highly recommend Lauren.
Lauren has spent her life dedicated to animals. Currently, as a proud momma of her cat Riley and dog Alice, Lauren cares for them like her children; Alice receives numerous walks each day and Riley enjoys lots of play and one-on-one time-no wonder he sleeps on her bed everyday. Alice, once a bit spritely and excited before entering Lauren’s care, now greets visitors with warmth, affection, and her waggy little tail, waiting for them to initiate contact. They are well groomed, fed a balanced diet, and receive all the cuddles and play time they could ever want. As her brother, I know that once I get a dog of my own, Lauren will be the first person I call to help me. She truly dedicates her life to the lives of animals. She is an animal advocate and a truly special caregiver.
Lauren is an animal lover, through-and-through! She is a current dog and cat owner, she grew up with dogs and many other pets, she went to university to study animal biology, she worked training guide dogs, and now she’s going to school again to study veterinary medicine. You likely could not find a more caring, and knowledgeable person to take care of your dog.

Schedule
I’m currently available all day on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. I work on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and every other Saturday but can accommodate requests before and after work.
