I started caring for animals in high school volunteering in for the Cat Feed & Clean program for a local shelter. Over the years babysitting friends and family dogs until I finally got my own. I had a Maltese for 8.5 wonderful years and enjoyed caring for her. Currently, I live with my partner who also loves and has experience with pets large and small. We do not have pets. We do spend alot of time with family and friends dogs. We live in a condo that has a an outdoor patio and by a park perfect for dogs as exercise or pee breaks are never far away! We aim to take the best care of every pet and prioritize helping them adjust to a new space by following their normal routine. We are flexible to each dogs personality and style.

Lauren was super great with my anxious puppy. She sent photo and text updates throughout the evening, was flexible with the drop off time, and was very professional. I felt safe and confident leaving my puppy with her. Would definitely contact again. 20/10 recommend Lauren!

I work downtown a few days a week which vary week to week. My partner works fully from home if looking to do a more consistent day care option.

One of the most important things is their routines get acknowledged so we actively try to ensure staying with a new person isn't too scary and feels ok for them.
A typical day
We aim to make sure animals are engaged we start with morning pets and belly rubs to get the day started. We aim to keep them stimulated during the day with games and toys. A morning outing for new sniffs and potty break. A movie and cuddle is in store for evening stays.
