I am returning to DC from a year in London studying for a Master’s in National Security Studies. While I look for work, I am very flexible as I do not have a set routine yet! I will be thrilled to have a buddy to care for and take walks with!

Please let me know if there is anything I should know about your dog beforehand. I always want to make sure to take great care of them. I live a short walk from a vet and have cared for many breeds and ages of dogs, so I am confident in my abilities, but I would love to know anything that may put you at ease!
A typical day
I live next to Lincoln Park, so there is no shortage of space to exercise and play! I like to go for walks around the neighborhood, sit at the nearby cafe and watch other dogs and people, play with toys inside, share naps on a rainy day! Whatever your pup enjoys most.

I am a responsible, young professional. I recently got laid off from my job and would love to stay busy helping with your animals! I am very familiar with Capitol Hill after living here for 8 years. I have housesat and cared for several other dogs the last 20 years and recognize the importance of caring for animals properly and giving them all of the love and attention that they need! I am very flexible now as I am still looking for permanent work and hope to continue to sit on weekends after securing a job. I look forward to caring for your little pupper!

Helped us wrangle our dog during a photo shoot with our baby, and did a phenomenal job!!
Lauren was fantastic. My dog was being stubborn and refused to walk so Lauren quickly changed her plan, making sure she went to the bathroom and keeping her company for 30 minutes in the day. Will definitely rebook with Lauren!
Lauren is fantastic! Our pup was so calm and relaxed after his walks with Lauren. She did a great job giving him exercise!
