Lifetime animal-lover and caretaker
I have had a wide range of dogs, cats and other miscellaneous pets throughout my lifetime and I have a lot of experience with taking care of them. I have trained both of my current dogs in basic obedience (sitting, laying down, come, stay etc). I have loved animals for my entire life, and enjoy taking the time to get to know the individual needs of each animal in order to best care for them. I have in-home dog sat several times before, and I am very attentive and able to cater to any need your pet has while walking, sitting or playing with them. I also used to volunteer at the animal shelter, and I took one of my dogs to a training class to learn proper care and techniques. My husband and I recently got a adopted a puppy and we did a lot of research and “on-the-job” learning of how to raise a well-behaved dog!

My style of care varies a bit from pet to pet. I really enjoy training, and getting to know different animals. An important part of pet care, especially for dogs, is to make sure they have their mental and physical needs met. I am happy to spend time working with your pup (whether in training or socialization practices), exercising them, and making sure they have everything they need. I look to build a bond with the animal to make sure they feel safe as well!

Lauren was a wonderful sitter for our two dogs. She was very reliable and responsive and stepped in when we had some issues with our travel plans which we really appreciate. Would highly recommend.
Lauren always does a such a great job caring for Finley. He got an upset stomach right before leaving for my trip and she was wonderful with adjusting his care while he was on the mend! Thankful to know he’s in good hands with her.
Lauren did a great job sitting for our dog and three cats for a week! She sent plenty of photos and was quick to communicate. She left our home in great condition and we came back to four happy, healthy pets.
Archie had a blast with Lauren! She took great care of him and our home and provided great updates throughout.

Schedule
I am a grad student preparing for a new year! This summer, I have the time to spend time with your pets! My schedule is super flexible and I am able to care for the needs of your beloved animal!
