My name is Lauren and I live with my partner Chris, our 2 year old son & cat Olive. Chris and I have both grown up with dogs all our lives but sadly have recently lost our 5 year old Golden Retriever Otis due to epilepsy. Although we are new to Rover as sitters, we both have lots of experience in looking after dogs of various sizes and have looked after both family & friends dogs over the years. We have lots of experience with giving medications and are more than happy to accommodate dogs who require them. After 5 years of having our lovely Goldie, our house just isn’t the same without him now, so we thought we could help take care of other doggies as we understand how hard it is to find a home from home caring environment with someone willing to give a dog medication or look after a dog with Medical needs. We will look care for any dogs just like they were our own, and how we would like ours to be taken care of ☺️

Our initial request for overnight boarding with Lauren was responded to within a very short time and booking agreed. Lauren invited us to take Eevie to meet her and to familiarise herself with where she would be staying and also an opportunity to discuss Eevie's routines. Communication was excellent throughout her stay with many photo's of Eevie and what she was getting up to throughout the day. Unfortunately, Eevie was sick while in Lauren's care and she contacted me immediately to let me know the situation and took her to the vet on our behalf (as we were over 140 miles away. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND LAUREN and would definitely look to re-book her to look after our little one again We did collect our dog early, but this was our decision. Lauren did offer to refund part of the overnight stay fee as we collected her late in the evening, but we felt that Lauren had definitely gone over and above and had certainly earned the full fee with her caring for dog.
Lauren and Chris are the perfect people to look after your pet. They’ve looked after our golden retriever Ralph many times and we feel so happy leaving him with them because of how well they take care of him. Our boy Ralphy can be anxious but he is always at ease when with them. They are lovely people and ensure Ralph is given plenty of love and cuddles when we are away. We really could not recommend higher!
Cannot recommend Chris & Lauren enough. My dog was in very safe hands, we were updated daily while we were away with lots of photos. She had the best time. Thanks both - will definitely be in touch again when we go away!
To whom it may concern, I can’t recommend Chris & Lauren enough for the role of a dog walker/dog sitter role. They have both looked after my dog Bella several times while I’ve been away, and I’ve always felt completely comfortable leaving her in their care. As they know, Bella is my absolute pride & joy & there aren’t many people I would trust leaving her with. They are both reliable, responsible, caring & affectionate. While I was away, they made sure my dog was well looked after — taking her out for regular walks, sticking to feeding routines, and giving plenty of attention, love and care. It was really reassuring knowing she was in safe hands & would be happy to leave her with them again when I am away. My dog is always happy to see them which says a lot about how much they adore Bella. They are both calm, patient, and clearly enjoy spending time with dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker/dog sitter - your furry besties will be in safe hands!

Schedule
I work Monday - Thursday and my partner works a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern. We would like to offer our services for weekends and for when my partner is off work so we can make sure your fur babies are not left alone ☺️. Our days off whether they land together or not usually comprise of nice long walks along the beach or through the fields with our son. We would take our Otis everywhere with us so we are used to having muddy paws in the car 🐾

We have a spacious fenced garden which your fur babies can have as much access to as they like. They will have the run of the house if they wish (aswell as the sofa ☺️) We are happy to offer several walks a day whether it be long or short. We do have a cat in the house that is very loving and confident with dogs.
