I am currently a student at Central Michigan University and work part-time with a flexible schedule, allowing me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets. I am available for both daytime visits and overnight stays in your home. I strongly believe pets are most comfortable in their familiar environment, and I strive to maintain their routine while providing consistent care and companionship.

I have been caring for animals my entire life, with experience ranging from dogs, cats, and rabbits to ferrets, birds, hamsters, and all kinds of farm animals. I also grew up maintaining a 400-gallon fish tank that included a wide variety of fish and even small freshwater sharks, giving me a strong understanding of aquatic care. I genuinely love animals of all kinds and enjoy getting to know their individual personalities, routines, and needs. I believe every pet is unique, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have raised two very active 100+ lb German Shepherd/Lab mixes since they were puppies, so I am confident handling large, high-energy dogs. Despite my size, I am fully capable of managing and guiding strong animals safely and effectively. I am happy to assist with all aspects of pet care, including long walks, feeding, bathing, playtime, and providing plenty of attention and affection. I am also comfortable caring for pets of all ages and administering medications when needed (with prior instructions). Additionally, I have long-term experience(10+ years) caring for a Bengal cat with Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD), which has given me hands-on experience with specialized care and medication routines.

Lauren is truly amazing. She has cared for my pets for many years now, and we have a full farm, cows, horses, donkeys, chickens, bunnies, barn cats, and our Border Collie. She handles all of them with confidence and care, from newborns to seniors. There have been times when we were away and some of our animals weren’t doing well, and Lauren kept us consistently updated while making sure they received the best possible care. One moment that really stands out is when she stayed overnight in our barn to monitor and comfort our mother horse that was struggling during birth. That level of dedication is rare these days. She is reliable, attentive, and clearly has a natural connection with animals. I trust her completely with both my pets and my home. She is a genuinely kind person, and anyone would be lucky to have her caring for their pets.
Lauren is a very responsible and dependable person who I would trust with my pets any day. She always comes over and plays with our yellow lab and cat, they both adore her and became comfortable with her the moment they met. She has a natural caring instinct and love of animals. I highly recommend utilizing her and trusting her to spend time with your furry family members!!
