I grew up in a house with 9 pets at once - dogs, cats, lizards, frogs, and small rodents of multiple kinds. Now that I’m 32, I’ve decided I need the companion of different animals around me. I currently own a dog (189 pounds!), cat, and rabbit. I have experience giving medications, walking reactive dogs (my current XL dog is leash reactive) and caring for elderly or disabled animals. I am comfortable with everything but snakes…sorry! I am also comfortable bathing dogs, cutting rabbit nails, and grooming pets as needed. I have 3.5 years experience working at Dogtopia, 3 years at the Humane Society, and 4 years at a dog groomers.

Safety, trust & environment
I am comfortable caring for your pet in your home but cannot board or watch animals in my own home. Our dog has guarding tendencies with his people and does not love other animals trying to get our attention.

Pups were well taken care of, they treated Lauren like their good friend when she came by to drop off the house key. And so nice that she watered our potted plants on the front porch and out back on the hottest week on record!
Lauren was fantastic with our Greyhound, Frankie! It's clear that she likes dogs and that our girl enjoyed her visits. She took extra time to make sure Frankie did her business and to give her a little attention and make her comfortable while we were away. I highly recommend Lauren!

Schedule
I work from home and am flexible to take care of pets during the day, but am more flexible in the evenings. I cannot do overnights as I have an infant at home who needs me at night.
