If there’s one thing I love almost as much as my family — it’s pet sitting. For me, pet-sitting has always been a very rewarding experience. Having your pet stay in your own home means he/she is in familiar surroundings while you are away. Thanks to smartphones and email, it makes it easier for you to check in daily with updates and pictures. You’ll know yours is just fine while you’re gone. I have house-sat for many friends with both cats and dogs ranging from 5lbs to over 60lbs+. I have sat for kittens as well as full grown pit bulls. Dog walking and litter boxes do not bother me.

Lauren is AWESOME and she sat our granny standard poodle while we were away on a cruise. Our pup warmed up to her and was clearly not stressed in our absence due to Lauren’s care. We received daily updates and pics. Our home was exactly how we had left it for Lauren’s stay, she even watered our outside pots due to the heat while we were gone. Definitely will have Lauren care for our pup again. Highly recommend.

It’s so hard to leave your best furry friends behind when you leave to go somewhere. Even more so when they are getting older in age. Lauren stepped in our shoes for us and our 2 cats and aging dog bonded so well and were bouncy happy to see us afterwards. We boarded one dog this time but not again. Lauren, thank you for helping us have a wonderful time away without constant fear or worry. Highly recommend for every over anxious pet parent.

We had an awesome experience with Lauren! Carson loved her and she took great care of him. I got a photo and an update each day that I was away. I would definitely ask her to keep my pup again. :)

Schedule
I do work FT on weekdays but I can leave during my 1 hr lunch period. I would be with your pet every morning and at night. I do not travel, nor have much of a social life that would take me away.

Safety, trust & environment
I don’t do much boarding, but when I house sit I follow all instructions. I also do not allow others to enter the home unless otherwise accepted.
Pets
A typical day
Normally I will play with the animals, according to any specific instructions from the owners. Daily walks, night walks. One stay I watched ducks and made sure they had enough space to ‘waddle’ around freely.
