I’ve been caring for animals for more than 10 years, beginning with dog walking and pet sitting for neighbors, friends, and family as a teenager. Since then, I’ve cared for puppies, seniors, rescues, and pets with medical or behavioral needs. I currently work at a pet supply store, where I continue learning about pet nutrition, enrichment, training, and wellness. Outside of work, I’ve spent the past several years involved with rescue animals, giving me experience with dogs of many different temperaments and backgrounds. My own pets have taught me just as much. I previously cared for my beloved senior cat through kidney disease, arthritis, and dementia, so I’m comfortable administering medications, monitoring changes in health, and providing compassionate senior and hospice-style care. I’ve also successfully managed dogs with fear-based aggression, giving me a strong understanding of canine body language, positive reinforcement, and how to safely build trust with anxious or reactive dogs. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking partner, medication, extra patience, enrichment, or simply a calm and dependable companion while you’re away, I’ll care for them as if they were my own.
