In simple words… I love animals! I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life, I spent a significant amount of time on my grandparents farm, and my grandfather bred Clydesdale horses. Needless to say I’ve been around animals for many years. I have owned and successfully trained my dogs (I have owned small/medium/large breeds) so if training is something you are interested in looking into please feel free to discuss with me. This being said I am not a “professional” trainer so I would lean towards this type of service with puppy/younger dogs. My last dog Blue, a 98lb. Catahoula/Pit Mix had medical issues his whole life, needed to be on medication four times a day so I am very comfortable with administering medication, and quite empathetic to any/all needs. Blue passed a year ago so I welcome the temporary void with your sweet baby!

Lauren is so wonderful! Very gentle and caring with my little Coton Pepo! He is just a puppy and has separation anxiety but Lauren went above and beyond to make him comfortable even hand feeding him as he is a picky eater. She was easy to work with sending pics and regular updates so I felt at ease and has become my go to pet sitter. It’s so nice to have no worries while I’m away or traveling. I highly recommend her services.
We have three Pomeranians that are in their senior years and all require much needed medication, attention to bathroom breaks and required affirmation and love. We also needed someone to be able to stay in our home. What a blessing that we found Lauren S! She stayed at our home for an entire week and took the best care of our fur babies!!! They were able to remain in their home and stay on their daily schedule and did not have to go through any big adjustments that could have caused nervous and anxious behavior. (not good for their heart conditions and other health issues) We/they all had a great vacation week all due to a fabulous pet caregiver Lauren S!!! Ann S.

Schedule
I work from home so my schedule is very open to caring for your pet, and they will receive quiet a lot of attention/love/affection! Weekends are typically open as well, this is all dependent upon my schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in backyard, do not own any animals at the moment, and no kids. I am open to staying in your home depending upon a short meet and greet, and flexibility of my schedule. I have one stipulation about dogs staying in my home: With all due respect, if your animal has a strong oder or sheds a lot I do not wish to have them stay in my house. Also, I do not have a crate/kennel so you will need to provide if this is needed for your animal.
