I’m currently attending school full time so I am available Wednesday evenings and weekends. I would be able to take them on long evening walks or do drop in visits.

When I stay in my client’s home I like to send lots of updates and photos of the dogs or cats, and make sure the animals are secure before letting them out on a walk or before leaving the door. If I have any questions I am quick to reach out and ask.

In general I want to know if there is anything that makes the dog anxious, like thunderstorms, or if the dog has any specific quirks or accommodations.
A typical day
Depending on the dog I can play fetch or with their favorite toys, take them on long walks, and give them lots of belly rubs while we curl up and watch tv. I usually like letting the dog choose the direction to go on a walk as long as it looks safe.

Aspiring Conservationist!
Pet care experience
I really love animals and want to be a marine conservationist or work in animal husbandry one day. I have experience in caring for animals and have volunteered at Mote and Cat Depot in the past. I also grew up caring for my family’s Standard Poodle. I have a cat and I’m working on my Master’s degree right now but I miss being around animals all the time. I’d love to help out in any way I can!

Lauren was great with out dog Red! He is a little shy around people but I could tell by the first pictures sent to me he was happy. I highly recomended Lauren. She has a gentle nature that animals can sense that puts pets at ease when when pet parents have to leave for a weekend. Lauren will be our first choice when we need someone to take care of our dog.
