Hello! I have over 20 years of experience caring for animals and truly love what I do. I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, attention, and lots of affection. One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is getting to know each animal’s unique personality and building trust with them. I’m experienced with a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, fish, and small mammals. I grew up in a home full of pets—everything from reptiles (even a pygmy caiman!) to birds and fish—so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I’m comfortable administering medications and can also help with light household tasks like watering plants, bringing in mail, and taking out trash. I always provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. References are available upon request. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets! 🐾

Lauren was awesome! I knew when we met her Emmie was going to be in good hands. Emmie is a lap dog and Lauren saw to it that Emmie had a lap to sit on. Lauren even included Emmie in her work meetings! It was nice to be on vacation and not have to worry about Emmie. Lauren sent pics of Emmie to show she was doing great! Lauren is very kind! I will definitely book with Lauren again with no hesitation!
Lauren was wonderful with our dog! She was very attentive and we could tell she cares very deeply about each dog she cares for. Our dog has medication and behavioral problems and she was very adaptive to his personality. We highly recommend her for your dogs, especially if your dogs have more concerns.
Lauren is awesome! We truly appreciate her for taking such great care of Rylee and being so flexible when our flight was delayed.
Lauren was fabulous. She just loved on our dog. She took him on a walk both in the morning and in the evening, which is my dog's absolute favorite thing to do. She even let him sleep on her bed.
Lauren is the best sitter Chief’s ever had. She made him feel so comfortable, kept him exercised and socialized, and use discretion when it came to his needs/comfort level. Thanks for taking such good care of my guy and putting my mind at ease while I was away, Lauren!

I know every animal is different, so I tailor my care to match their personality, energy level, and routine. For example, some pets prefer a calm, home-based environment with short, simple walks and lots of relaxation time. Others thrive on activity and adventure—I’ve cared for dogs who enjoy multiple daily walks, park visits, and even hikes. I’m happy to adjust based on what makes your pet happiest and most comfortable. Whether I’m in my home or yours, I focus on keeping pets safe, maintaining their routine, and giving them the right balance of exercise, attention, and affection.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy! Depending on their energy level and your preferences, we’ll enjoy walks, hikes, trips to the park, and games like fetch. I also like to reinforce any commands or tricks they already know to keep their minds stimulated. If allowed, I enjoy bringing pets along with me to pet-friendly places so they get extra socialization and enrichment. Of course, I always tailor activities to what your pet enjoys most—whether that’s adventure-filled outings or relaxed playtime at home.

- Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, medical conditions, or requires medications while in my care. It’s also important for me to know about any behaviors such as chewing or ingesting items (blankets, toys, etc.), especially when bored or anxious. For safety, please share if your dog has a tendency to run or escape, along with any known triggers or concerns. The more I know, the better I can provide a safe, comfortable, and personalized experience. Your pet is family, and I want to care for them the same way you do. 🐾
