Runner & dog mom of 3 rescues
Three things I am above all else are a dog-mom, a runner, and a nature-lover. As of May 2021, I have successfully completed by PhD, and this allows me to be outside with my dogs whenever I can. My husband and I live in the foothills and are out on the trails whenever possible. I love all breeds, but have a soft spot for the big guys. I am most content when the dogs are tired and happy. I am the person who will cross the street to meet your dog, take his/her photo, and tell them I love them before I leave. Dogs are the greatest gift, other than books. I am extremely active, punctual, positive, and loving. I have two large black dogs; Artemis & Silas and another rescue named Fenrir. I wish I could adopt all homeless animals and will love yours! I will always choose to be outside over sitting inside, and my dogs live the life that embodies this. We travel all over and try to see it all.

I believe in taking care of animals in their own home so that they feel as secure as possible while their people are away. I give them as much love and attention as I can so that they can forget that their people are gone and relax. I also believe in leaving their homes in tip-top shape, as clean or cleaner than I found it.

Lauren is amazing! It would be nearly impossible to find a better dog sitter! It is apparent that she loves dogs and dogs love her. Many walks, play and love; and lots of pictures!

Schedule
As an academic, I enjoy taking care of animals when I am not teaching or on campus. Being with animals feels like a privilege, so I love fitting it into my schedule whenever possible.
