I have over 3 years of experience as a kennel technician, and I've owned dogs for more than 20 years. Currently, I have a sweet chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix) rescue named Poppy, a 9-pound neutered male. I may be able to board dogs in my home on a case-by-case basis, especially small, friendly dogs that would be a good fit with Poppy. I have experience with dog socialization, and I love seeing the confidence that regular walks can bring to even the shyest pups. I've also used Rover as a client for several years, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your dog. I look forward to getting to know your dog's unique personality, needs, and favorite activities. I work evenings as a RN, so I'm looking for daytime walks and adventures. While my schedule is primarily open for walks before 3:00 PM, I have several days off and more flexibility than my calendar may show. If we're a good fit, I always do my best to accommodate my clients whenever I can.

I have learned throughout many years with owning and taking care of dogs that leaving them for 8 hours a day, is not a great option, though a majority of people with jobs do just that. Dogs should have a bathroom break every four to six hours during the day, and always have access to water.

Schedule
I walk my little (blind) pup twice daily, and he loves a buddy on his walks. He can be slightly shy but warms up quickly to new friends.
