A Nurturer to Animals
I have had dogs ever since I was little but didn't start being able truly experience the responsibility of taking care of dogs until about 12. Caring for my dogs has served as a great example throughout my life of showing me patience, unconditional love, and loyalty. Over the years I have had 6 dogs with 3 being the ones that I was old enough to care for. All of them with their individual, outgoing personalities have been a joy in my life. A stand out experience I've had with my dogs, has to be currently with caring for my elderly and sickly dog, Yoshi. He is a 10-year-old Husky-Akita who has an autoimmune disease called Pemphigus Vulgaris which severely affects his skin. Out of my family of 4, I have been his primary caretaker; administering his medicine when he was on it, researching different remedies to help him, bathing him to soothe his irritated & itchy skin, making him a natural ointment to treat his wounds, and changing his diet off of dry dog food to a medley of Freshpet dog food and steamed vegetables. Although the process is trying, I see him as God's animal and I feel I've been given the responsibility to care and love him unconditionally as animals were made to do the same for us.

I have a small yard but live in a housing development that is dog friendly with lots of sidewalks and trails that provide dog waste trashcans. Besides walking, I provide feeding, brushing, bathing, administering ointment or medication, and lots of love and attention.

Lauren was an awesome sitter! She went above and beyond in providing good care for my dog, Maggie. She walked her and spent time with her helping her acclimate to my cats. I would most definitely recommend Lauren for your pet sitting needs!
Lauren has been great, dropping in to see our 2 dogs 3 times a week. She’s always on time, stays the full 30 minutes, and sends photos and updates for every visit. I’d highly recommend her.

I've known Lauren her entire life. She is the most sweetness young lady I know. Her disposition is one that is trusting and honest. Lauren is mild tempered and patient, this is who she is as a human being which translates to how she is with animals. Although Lauren is a woman with her own values and opinions, she was raised to respect other peoples property, opinions and what is asked of her. She would care for someone else's pet as though it were her own and will always put them first when she is responsible for their care. Lauren would be an asset to have care for anyone's pet.
Lauren has always gone above and beyond when caring for animals. I have seen her prepare freshly made meals for two dogs, administer daily medications and give baths multiple times during the week for an ailing pet. She is kind, loving and gentle with all animals that she comes in contact with. You will have a true gem if she is looking after your fur baby. Lauren is a young lady with a heart of gold and dedication to animals.
