Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has grown from a passion into a full-time career. I have over 5 years of experience as an independent pet sitter, along with 3 years of professional experience as a kennel technician and dog bather. During that time, I worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, monitored playgroups, administered medications, cared for puppies and seniors, and helped ensure every pet felt safe, comfortable, and loved while away from home. I am currently enrolled in Penn Foster's Veterinary Technician program, where I'm continuing to expand my knowledge of animal health, behavior, handling, and care. My goal is to provide pet parents with the peace of mind that their pets are being cared for by someone who not only loves animals, but is actively pursuing a career dedicated to their well-being. I provide boarding, doggy daycare, drop-in visits, and cat care. Because Rover is my full-time job and my schooling is completed from home, pets in my care receive plenty of supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. They are rarely left alone for extended periods, allowing me to closely monitor their comfort, routines, and individual needs. I have experience caring for dogs from toy breeds to giant breeds, as well as cats, guinea pigs, reptiles, fish, and hermit crabs. While I welcome pets of all ages and personalities, I have a special place in my heart for senior pets, cats, and animals who may need a little extra patience and understanding. I also have experience working with shy, anxious, and nervous pets and understand the importance of earning trust at their pace. Communication is one of the things I value most as a sitter. When your pet is in my care, you can expect regular updates, photos, and honest communication so you never have to wonder how they're doing. I treat every pet as if they were my own family member, and I strive to create a safe, loving, low-stress environment where they can feel comfortable, secure, and genuinely cared for.

Lauren was absolutely amazing with my puppy, Apollo! I honestly can’t recommend her enough. I ended up having to extend my trip multiple times, often with very little notice, and she was incredibly understanding, flexible, and accommodating through every last-minute change. That took so much stress off my shoulders, and I can’t thank her enough for her patience. She was also super responsive and kept me updated, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It’s obvious she genuinely cares about the animals she watches. Apollo was well cared for, happy, and loved while he was with her, and I know puppies can require a lot of extra patience and attention! Thank you so much, Lauren, for taking such great care of Apollo and for being so kind, understanding, and dependable throughout everything. I truly appreciate all the time, patience, and love you gave him. We will definitely be booking with you again!

Lauren was a wonderful dog sitter. She was dependable, caring, and treated my dog like her own. She made sure my dog was well-fed, exercised, and given plenty of attention and affection. Lauren took great care of our little dog. She sent regular updates and pictures and I never had any doubt that he was being well cared for (and having a great time making new friends!) Additionally Lauren was quick to respond to any questions I had, flexible when we needed to make some changes to the details of our booking, and just a kind and pleasant person to interact with all around. We're so glad to have found Lauren and to know we have a safe place to board our buddy!
We thought Lauren was great! She sent us daily updates on our dog and took very good care of him while we went on our vacation. Will definitely use her again!

Schedule
Pet care is my full-time job, so my schedule is built around the pets in my care. I work from home and complete my Veterinary Technician coursework online, which allows me to be home throughout the day to provide supervision, companionship, potty breaks, playtime, feedings, medications, and plenty of attention. Because I don't have a traditional job outside the home, pets are rarely left alone for extended periods. I maintain a flexible schedule and can easily accommodate each pet's normal routine to help them feel comfortable, secure, and stress-free during their stay.

I also provide regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
A typical day
Every pet's day is tailored to their personality and energy level! Active pets can enjoy playtime, enrichment activities, and plenty of attention throughout the day, while more relaxed pets can spend their time lounging, cuddling, and enjoying a calm environment. For cats, I provide interactive play, enrichment, and plenty of opportunities for affection (if they want it!). My goal is to keep pets happy, comfortable, and engaged while maintaining the routine they're used to at home. Plus, you'll receive lots of photos and updates along the way!
