I care for clients home as if they were my own and with the upmost respect and professionalism. I ensure all animals are safe and residents secured as directed by clients. I also ensure procedures are carefully outlined between myself and clients and then followed to ensure the best experience. Upon request, I offer complimentary services like watering plants, light cleaning, and/or bringing in mail. I take before and after pictures of litter boxes and feeding areas to provide ease of mind for proper sanitation during visits. I ensure all trash and potty bags/supplies are properly cleaned and disposed of according to clients request. I do not offer boarding. I understand the sensitivity and responsibility of coming into someone's home. I ensure a safe clean environment is maintained for pets and client to return to. My goal is to exceed client expectation by maintaining and building trust through clear communication and follow-through so I can help make my clients lives easier knowing their beloved animals are in the best care.

I have a list of questions to outline procedures before visits to ensure needs are met during pet sitting. I appreciate being able to communicate with clients before, during visits, and after visits to ensure continuity in care and get feedback or confirmation after clients return and visit ends. I also prefer to have a meet and greet and require information on vaccines, medical needs /health of pet, and a pets temperament before visits.
A typical day
With pups I love going on adventures when permitted, I like getting dogs motivated and comfortable with me so they get their zoomies out. With kitties I often play with toys and keep them interacted during visits. I am also patient and mindful of more shy dogs and kitties that have unique and special needs.

Hi! My name is Lauren, I'm a student making a career change to healthcare after working in the technology industry. I've always loved working with animals and started back 2015 walking dogs professionally. I then worked for Above and Beyond Pet Services based in Watertown from 2021 until 2023. I've been caring for animals for almost a decade and this is my first time back on Rover since going back to school. I love caring for animals and I find they tend to trust me. I pay close attention to their personality and needs, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I have experience working with bunnies, dogs, rodents, and have the most experience with cats. I'm attentive, caring, and good at getting pets active through playing with toys or going for walks. I also have experience with plant care and can complete light to medium household tasks (cleaning, getting mail, and etc.) I have a reliable car, and am familiar with Massachusetts. I am from here and have been in the greater Boston area for 8 years. I love exploring and don't mind a commute especially when planned in advance. Overall, I love animals and treasure the time I get to spend providing care for my clients furry family members.

Lauren house sat for us over a long weekend, taking excellent care of our dog and cat while we were gone. She was an excellent communicator, giving us multiple updates and pictures throughout the day, and we would definitely book with her again!
lauren was amazing! i had a last minute situation come up, i had already left the state and lauren was willing to work with me through facetime to make sure my cats get taken care of! they warmed up to her so fast and she kept me updated and sent good photos and was very communicative. i’ll be using lauren again!
Lauren was exceptional sitting for our cat. She listened and take notes of Atari’s routine and provide feedback and pictures of Atari every day she was at our place. I recommend Lauren if you are looking for the perfect sitter for your pet.
