Working with Lauren in a pet care facility was absolutely amazing. She always strived to give every pet the best care they could possibly have and make sure they’re as comfortable as ever. Many dogs and cats that entered this facility were nervous and shy being away from their owners and in a new environment. Lauren always made it her duty to make pets feel safe and let their guard down. There were honestly quite a few pets that didn’t feel comfortable until Lauren sat inside their rooms with them and comforted them or played with them outside just to let them know that everything is okay. She is a very hardworking individual with lots of patience. Her passion for animals is very strong and it’s good to have people like her to tend to your pets.

As a pet care industry veteran at this point in my career, there are a lot of folks that have come through the doors of my pet resort under my employment over the years. Few of them make impressions quite like Lauren. I am grateful to have had her as long as I did. She is hard working, very compassionate and empathetic with your pets(and we had some fur babes come to us that certainly needed the extra patience), willing to learn and never waivered to keep the animals in our care safe. I am very confident(and happy) to recommend her to anyone in need of pet care in the days ahead! I only offer my praise when it is something I would endorse myself, and that stands with people I would trust with my own animals. My own dogs are both special needs: a deaf and reactive dachshund and a blind senior shepherd. Lauren (Kenzi) is a phenomenal pet caregiver. I was lucky enough to work with Lauren at a doggie daycare/boarding facility in Virginia for some time. As someone 20+ years her senior, I was constantly amazed at her way with dogs. She was always able to figure out a way to connect with each dog, even those with behavioral issues. She is incredibly knowledgeable, observant and truly understands dogs and their behaviors. If I ever had a problem handling or interacting with a particular dog, I could always count on Lauren to know exactly what to do, regardless of the situation. I worked with Lauren previously at a doggy daycare, which led to us becoming friends. I can say she is the most responsible, timely person I’ve ever worked with. She puts her entire heart into working with all different kinds of animals, cats and dogs mostly. At the doggy daycare we worked at, we were introduced to many different types of dogs including reactive dogs that require extra special attention. She truly showed up every day and treated every pet as her own. I have a dog of my own, Charlie, that she’s been great help with!
