Pawsitively the Best Holiday for Your Pup

Hi! I’m a primary school teacher and during the school holidays, I open up my home to welcome dogs for boarding—turning it into a fun, loving doggy paradise! I live in a cosy ground floor maisonette with a secure garden that’s perfect for zoomies, sunbathing, and safe sniffs. I’m an active person who loves heading out on adventures—whether it’s woodland wanders, beach days, or exploring new spots, your dog will be right there with me, tail wagging and having a blast! I have a cheeky little corgi called Pumpkin who’s full of beans and desperate for a holiday buddy. She’s my world, and I promise to treat your dog with the same love, care, and endless cuddles she gets every single day. They’ll be part of the family, showered with affection, playtime, and cosy snuggles. Plus, if you're happy for it, I’ll take loads of adorable photos and keep you updated, so you can relax knowing your pup is having just as much fun as you are!

Doggy Day Care • Jan 25, 2026

Lauren-Melissa was absolutely amazing! I would recommend her to anyone. Such a nice person and my little Charlie clearly had a very good time. He also met a new corgi friend! She also sent me photos to show what a good time Charlie was having, which I appreciated. If you want someone to be a dog carer, you will not find a better person!

Best dog minder we’ve had. Our dog was pampered throughout her stay with lots of walks throughout the stay. Great attention to care for her and we received lots of photos during her stay. 5 stars!

Schedule

As a primary school teacher, I’m home for the entire duration of the school holidays—which means your dog will never be left alone for long periods. I’ll be here to give them constant company, love, and attention throughout the day. Whether it’s playtime in the garden, a cosy nap on the sofa, or heading out on a new adventure, your dog will have me (and Pumpkin!) by their side every step of the way.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a secure, fully fenced garden that offers both sunny spots for lounging and shady areas to cool off—perfect for all types of weather and doggy preferences! Your pup will have plenty of space to play safely, with Pumpkin on hand to keep them company and show them the ropes. To make sure everyone feels comfortable, I also offer a meet and greet in the local park before their stay, so our doggos can meet, have a little play, and start building a bond right from the start!

A typical day

A typical day off school with Pumpkin and me is full of love, fun, and plenty of tail wags! We start the morning with lazy snuggles on the sofa, soaking up those cosy moments before heading out for our first walk—usually to the park or somewhere a bit wild and muddy (Pumpkin’s favourite!). After a good stretch of the legs, it’s back home for some chill time—think snoozing in the sun, cuddled up on the rug, or lounging in the garden. The afternoon brings a burst of playtime, whether that’s a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or zoomies around the garden with a stick or squeaky toy. As the day winds down, we head out again for a peaceful evening walk, enjoying the quiet and fresh air before settling in for another round of cuddles and relaxation. It’s the perfect balance of adventure, rest, and affection—just how dogs like it!

I’m more than happy to cater to your dog’s specific needs—whether they need a special diet, medication, a set routine, or just a little extra TLC, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and right at home. Every dog is different, and I’m all about making their stay as comfortable and personalised as possible. To help with that, I’d love to arrange a meet and greet before their stay. We can head to the local park so I can get to know your pup, and they can meet me and Pumpkin in a relaxed, fun setting. It’s a great way to make sure everyone feels comfortable and excited for their little holiday!
