Your furry friend’s dream “Home away from home”!
Hi, we’re Lauren and Matt 👋🏼 Thanks for considering us to look after your four-legged best friend! We’re both from the southern hemisphere (🇿🇦 & 🇳🇿) and grew up surrounded by animals in our family homes. We’re not in a position to own our own animals at the moment which is why we really enjoy dog sitting regularly for our friends and owners we meet through Rover. We live an active lifestyle and enjoy nothing more than being outdoors. In our free time you'll find us enjoying the sunshine in our backyard. We’ll be the best friends your four-legged friend ever had! From walks in the park, to cuddles on the couch, we can promise you that we’ll take care of your furry friend as if they were our own!

Panko spent two nights with Lauren & Matt while we had a weekend away...and pretty much had a mini break of his own! We knew Panko was in good hands from the moment we met them at the meet & greet, and they sent regular updates including photos, how well he'd slept and how much he'd eaten. It was lovely knowing he was being so well looked after. We will definitely use Lauren & Matt again for boarding and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Otis always has such a fun time with Lauren and Matt. They match our boys energy perfectly and give him lots of love and fuss. He really enjoyed his daily walks on the local golf course followed by big snoozes and more chaos in the back garden. Thank you for being our holiday heroes and Otis’s best pal🩷
Lauren and Matt had Florence overnight this past weekend and were brilliant with her from the moment we turned up to drop her off. They kept I contact with us through the day letting us know how she was doing. They both clearly loved looking after dogs and Florence had the best time in their garden. Florence can be a bit anxious but she was really at ease when we picked her up the next day and was exhausted so had clearly had loads of fun! Would highly recommend them and will absolutely be asking them to dog sit again!
Lauren and Matt gave our dog George a warm home to stay! I was reassured that George would be looked after like their own; sofa cuddles, games in the garden and long walks. The photo updates were so much appreciated! I am so glad that we have found them to care for George, they are perfect 🥰 x

Charlie was made to feel right at home when we arrived and it was clear Lauren & Matt were experienced dog carers so I left knowing Charlie would have a great day. The update I received was very welcome and I would happily recommend Lauren & Matt to provide a safe and welcoming home for your dog.

Schedule
We both work full time and our offices are London-based. Matt is in the office three times a week, Tue - Thu. Lauren is also in the office three times a week; she generally goes in on Mon and Thu - the third office day can vary from week to week.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
We live in a semi-detached house with a large rear garden (fenced). We have a car, and with your consent, will happily drive to Henlow Lakes or the likes for a change of scenery on our walks. We are great communicators and will happily send you updates whilst you’re away (as often as you’d like). Please make sure that your care instructions are accurate and up to date to ensure we deliver the best possible care.
A typical day
A lunch time walk will always be on the cards. We are new to the Henlow area so any dog walking spots that you know your dog loves are welcomed! We love playing scent games and the like if that’s something your dog will enjoy.
