I am Lauren - I am a seasoned pet owner and dog enthusiast! I have been a Rover sitter going on four years now after losing my rescue, JJ, to cancer in 2020 and the passing of my beloved childhood yellow lab, Emma in 2022. I was previously only taking repeat clients for the last few years, but have decided to reopen boarding requests for 2026 for anyone interested! I have experience with dog walking and sitting, as well as experience caring for puppies and disabled and elderly dogs. My lab had hip issues in the last two years of her life, so I am well-versed in caring for large dogs with mobility troubles. I am cat and dog first aid certified through the Red Cross and have successfully responded to choking situations in the past. I also have experience cleaning and dressing wounds. I previously worked at the Pennsylvania SPCA and volunteered at animal shelters while I was a college student, so I am no stranger to caring for animals of various age, size, breed, and requirements. I truly love and care for my doggie pals as if they were family and have cherished the opportunity to bond with my clients over the years. This really is as close to a dream job as I could imagine!
