Pet care experience

Your Dog’s New Best Friend!

What sets me apart from other sitters is how deeply I understand the value of these furry family members. I know exactly how important it is to find someone who is gentle, patient, responsible, and genuinely caring. I don’t just “watch” pets, I treat them with the same love and attention I give my own. I’m extremely attentive, safety focused, and great at reading animal behavior. I’m comfortable with all ages of pets, from energetic puppies to slower senior dogs who need extra care and understanding. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, routines, and quirks so they feel comfortable, secure, and loved while you’re away. I also pride myself on communication. You can expect fast replies, regular photo updates, and complete transparency, because I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and well cared for. My goal is to make your life easier and give your pets a safe, positive, and loving experience every single time.

Lauren is honestly the sweetest and most responsible pet caregiver ever. She treats every animal like it’s her own and really pays attention to the little things. My pets always love spending time with her and are always happy afterwards. I volunteered alongside her at the Partners for Pets Humane Society, where she walked dogs of many breeds and different personality types. She made them all feel safe and loved. I trust her completely, and I always recommend her to anyone who needs someone loving to watch their pets.

I’ve known Lauren for years as a family friend, and she’s one of the only people I trust with my dog, Bear. He isn’t always good with new people, but Lauren was so patient and calm with him from the very beginning. She took the time to let him warm up, learned his routines, and treated him with so much kindness. Seeing how gentle and responsible she was with Bear made it clear how much she truly loves animals. Anyone would be lucky to have her care for their pets.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

Pet care fits very naturally into my weekly schedule. I’m a full-time college student, but my class times are short and spread out, which gives me plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins throughout the day. Here is my exact weekly schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Class from 10–11 AM → I’m available before 10 AM, after 11 AM, and in the evenings. Tuesday: Class from 2–4 PM → I’m available all morning, early afternoon, evenings, and nights. Thursday: Classes from 10–11 AM and 2–4 PM → I’m available before 10 AM, between 11 AM–2 PM, after 4 PM, and in the evenings. Saturday & Sunday: → Fully available all day. Because my classes are short, I have lots of open time during the day to care for pets. I’m very flexible and can easily plan visits around these hours. I’m always willing to go above and beyond to help owners who need dependable, loving care for their pets.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

Since I don’t take pets into my own home, all of my care is done in your home where your pet feels the most comfortable and secure. I always treat your space and your pet with the highest level of respect, responsibility, and trustworthiness. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to: Follow your pet’s routine exactly (feeding, potty breaks, walks, medication, bedtime, etc.) Keep your home clean and tidy, I always leave things the same or better than I found them Give plenty of love, attention, and playtime so your pet feels safe and happy Monitor behavior and comfort levels to make sure they’re doing well while you’re away Send regular updates and photos so you always know how your furry friend is doing Respect your privacy and home rules at all times Stay safety conscious (locking doors, watching gates, checking leashes, etc.) I’m very responsible, patient, and attentive, and I genuinely care about creating a calm, positive experience for both you and your pet. My goal is to earn your trust and make sure your pet gets the love, consistency, and care they deserve while you’re away.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day with me is all about keeping your pet happy, engaged, and comfortable. I like to follow the routine your dog already knows so they feel secure, but I also make sure they get plenty of fun, exercise, and attention. Depending on your pet’s energy level and personality, we might: Go on relaxing walks to get fresh air and explore their favorite spots Play their favorite games (fetch, tug-of-war, gentle chasing, enrichment toys) Practice simple commands or mental stimulation activities to keep their mind sharp Have calm cuddle time or belly rubs if they’re more laid-back Spend time outside if the weather is nice Do short training refreshers for good manners and confidence Give lots of love, praise, and positive attention throughout the visit I always make sure they have fresh water, stay safe during walks, and feel comfortable in their home environment. I’m very patient and gentle, and I try to connect with each pet’s unique personality so they feel understood and cared for. Your pet’s day will be filled with attention, structure, and affection — and plenty of photo updates so you can see how much fun they’re having!

To give your pet the best and safest care, it’s really helpful for me to know a few things ahead of time. This allows me to follow their routine perfectly and make sure they feel completely comfortable. Please let me know: Any aggressive, reactive, or skittish behaviors (toward people, other dogs, loud noises, specific triggers, etc.) Feeding schedule and dietary needs (how much they eat, when they eat, any allergies or restrictions) Leash behavior (pulling, lunging, nervous outside, needs a harness, etc.) Medications or health conditions (injuries, limitations, hot-spot care, joint issues, etc.) Comfort items or routines (favorite toys, words they respond to, bedtime habits, crate training) Social preferences (do they like other pets? prefer space? get overstimulated?) Energy level (high-energy and playful, or calm and slow-paced) House rules (are they allowed on furniture? treats limited? backyard or leash only?) The more I know, the better I can make your pet feel safe, happy, and understood. My goal is to treat your furry friend exactly how you want them to be treated — with patience, consistency, love, and respect.
