Hi! I was away from river for a bit but I’m back!! Please don’t take my response scores or booking rate too seriously. They were falsely lowered when I was off of river!! Send me a message let’s chat!! Every time I’m booked as a sitter, a percentage of my earnings is donated to the ASPCA. Hi! My name is Lauren and I’m a licensed veterinary technician. I am a strong believer in trying to build relationships with your pets and love them just as you would, with a soft spot for the cautious and sensitive ones because I admire putting the time in to make them comfortable with me. I take pride in caring for any animal. I really enjoy photography so you can expect daily pictures of your pets. I also have some experience in grooming and it’s something I enjoy doing for cats and dogs. I have 3 cats of my own and a tank full of fish! I have worked in the veterinary field with all kinds of animals for 12 years, from exotics to cats and dogs. I can take care of geriatric pets, puppies and kittens and administer any type of medication you need(insulin, pills etc.. Since I am receiving a lot of boarding requests, I will ask that your dog is up to date on some vaccines. Lauren is prompt, professional, and being a vet tech, someone I can trust leaving my sweet babies in her care. I will be using her services regularly, since I need help giving my cat subq fluids for her kidney disease.
Lauren & Holly took such great care of our dogs while we were away for a weekend. They sent us updates and pictures, which we really appreciated. We were a bit nervous, as our 8-month-old Great Dane has never stayed at someone else's home before, at least not without us, but it looked like she settled in pretty quickly. We were so relieved about that, especially for our Dane who's usually a bit of a nervous Nellie. As for our other dog, who is older at 7 years, she pretty much went right in and made herself at home. We have boarded her in the past, in a kennel setting, and she hated it. We love that Lauren & Holly don't keep the dogs in any kennels, although we did send over a crate for our Dane in case she had any accidents -- and she didn't! Lauren & Holly genuinely love animals, and it definitely shows. They treated our fur babies like their own, and we couldn't have asked for more. We look forward to the next time our girls get to spend time with them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for someone reliable, trustworthy and loving to care for their dogs.
Lauren is amazing! Administered medications wonderfully and sent the best pictures.
Lauren and Holly have been a huge help giving our kitten his injections while we've been away. Their knowledge has helped us improve how we give the injections ourselves as well. They've been great with checking in and sending us photos. Definitely recommend!
