Student who loves pets and hiking
Took a break from Rover to focus on my PhD in Physics at WSU but with federal funding cuts, I can’t do research full time anymore. Luckily I can make use of my deep passion for animals!! I have an amazing dog that is very social and an intense academic schedule so in order to keep us both happy, dog sitting/walking is the perfect job for our lives!! We go on walks at least twice a day and would love more furry friends to join us! I dog sit for all of my friends, and have fostered three dogs and a cat, all at very young ages and trained them all to be modeled citizens (lilo & stitch reference) through positive reinforcement. I am more than experienced in treating every animal as if they were my own!

I know from experience that a dog is more obedient and happy if they are exercised often and given lots of loving. However, if I’m watching your dog in your home and they don’t regularly exercise, I won’t take them out of their comfort zone. It’s distressing to have their owners leave so I like to make sure that they’re as comfortable as possible by sticking to their daily routines while you’re away.

Lauren was great. She came over before the gig to meet our dog and get oriented and checked in regularly with us and sent pictures. Will definitely use her again.
Lauren was so amazing with our pups. She was able to accommodate a last minute request. She went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care of and sent me detailed updates. We would absolutely love for her to care for our pups in the future.

Lauren was responsive, checked in frequently, send lots of pictures, was very friendly, and took GREAT care of our older chihuahua and very independent kitty. Will ABSOLUTELY be booking her again.
Lauren did an awesome job watching Milo and Riley. She always sends lots of pics and updates. They always seem very happy with her. This is the second time I’ve book with Lauren and she does a great job.
Highly recommend Lauren as a pet sitter! She watched my pit mix dog for the weekend and made sure she got plenty of hikes/walks. Lauren was also great about scheduling meet and greets ahead of time (getting to know my slightly reactive pup's quirks and ensuring that our dogs got along well before the stay). Lauren sent lots of pictures and a few updates throughout the stay!

Zeitplan
My dog is extremely active so I always set aside 3 hours minimum a day to work him out. I’m doing remote research at the moment so I have nothing but free time to care for your pet!
