I unfortunately no longer offer pet sitting as one of my services due to having my own dog selective rescue pup. If you have a dog that has behavioral issues and are having difficulty finding a caretaker, I can take on the daily walks, but not the overnight care.

I like to know your pets energy levels, quirky habits, and anything that could get a reaction out of them. Any info that you think I might need to keep them happy and safe is always welcome.
A typical day
I base my activities on each pet individually as much as possible. If you have an overactive dog, I try to jog or run during the walk to get their energy out. If you have an older pet, I try to take it easy and make sure they don't overexert themselves.

I’ve worked in the pet care industry for over 10 years, starting here on Rover and eventually getting to work as director of operations at a small rural animal rescue in Tennessee. Im back in California now offering my services as a dog walker, trainer and hiker for the more energetic dogs! I have experience with very shy rescue dogs as well as those who have behavioral issues like leash and dog reactivity. Have more than one pup? No worries! I can handle multiple dogs at once and have taken classes on proper handling as well.

Lauren was amazing! I needed someone to watch our puppy on a very short notice (same day) for overnight. She came by and met Pepper and took great care of her. It was wonderful to be able to keep our puppy at home instead of a kennel. I would highly recommend her!
Lauren was attentive to our Lucy baby. She kept us updated with photos and comments from her daily check ins. Will definitely rebook Lauren for future drop ins ! ?
Although we only hired Lauren for daily dog walking for a week I was out of town, we got the added bonus of dog training! I don’t know now she did it, but the dogs are much better behaved on the leash now and less aggressive around other dogs. Highly recommend and will definitely hirer her again.
