Ever since we adopted, my life revolves around my dog, Koda! When your pup is here, my life will revolve around them too! I am currently 100% available during the week and have weekend availability as well. I have lots of time for long walks, play time, and to offer plenty of love and snuggles (if your dog likes that!) and promise a fun-filled day each day.

I live on the second floor in a condo community with my boyfriend, our one year old rescue pup Koda, and our bearded dragon, Sappy. Sappy will always be secured in his enclosure (with the door closed to the room when your pet stays here) so that everyone stays safe and happy! We do not have a fenced in backyard, instead we have a very large field, trail, and plenty of space for long sniff walks! Dogs are ALWAYS leashed when outside whether for potty or walks, no exceptions. My dog Koda is crate trained as he is still young and a super chewer, so it is for his own safety that he is crated when we leave the house or go to sleep. I would prefer it if your dog was also crate trained but would absolutely be willing to talk about an alternative solution if I’m able to accommodate it. (If at any point your dog needs space from mine, or does not seem comfortable, I can accommodate that. I will immediately reach out to you so we can work out a solution together. No matter what, your pet’s needs will always be prioritized and taken care of just like my own pets!)

For the health and safety of my own dog, 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠. - Rabies - DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvo, parainfluenza) - Bordetella (kennel cough) - Canine influenza - Flea/tick prevention (this area is high-risk and I just want your pups to be safe!) Keeping your doggies and mine safe will ALWAYS be my main priority! :) In addition to this, I can no longer accept dog-reactive or severely behaviorally challenged dogs. I will require a Meet & Greet to make sure everyone is comfortable and can acclimate to our environment safely and successfully. Let me know anything you think could help your pet’s overall experience with me! Any special needs, quirks, or maybe just a routine they are fond of? Pawrents with anxious pups, I'm here for you!) • Outdoor activities other than walks (Playgrounds, Park, playing catch/running around at the tennis courts; there's so much to do and all in walking distance too!) • Structured rest * this one gets missed by a lot of daycares/boarders. It's just as important that your dog is able to rest peacefully, especially after a lot of activity! We prioritize R & R as much as we prioritize having a blast! Your pups deserve to be comfy, cozy, and lazy too!

Hi! My name is Lauren. My ultimate goal is to always provide your pet with personalized luxury care! That’s what sets me apart from other sitters. I am passionate, communicative, hard-working, and there is nothing I love like I love animals. I have over 4 years of professional experience in addition to many years of personal experience growing up with and taking care of animals. Before Rover, I worked as an Adoption Counselor and Rescue Liaison at an animal shelter. I have extensive knowledge and experience with animal behavior, compassionate training techniques (positive reinforcement!!) and general care. I have plenty of experience with and so much love for dogs of all sizes and breeds. Lauren is such an amazing and trustworthy dog sitter! As a first time dog mom of a very active golden retriever puppy, I was nervous to have someone new watch him but Lauren made me feel comfortable right away! One thing that makes her super special is how often she provides updates with photos and descriptions of how their day is going! I love her attention to detail and willingness to keep me updated during my busy work day. She also always makes sure to record the walks they go on and provide that information as well. Additionally, her extensive experience with animals having worked at an animal shelter also made me feel confident that my baby would be well cared for! I definitely plan to keep coming back again and again to Lauren for daycare! Highly recommend!!
Lauren was absolutely phenomenal with Rory! He struggles with separation anxiety, but she made him feel comfortable and he warmed right up to her. He even ran straight inside on their second day together, ready to play! Lauren is very responsive and takes lots of great pictures too. I couldn’t recommend her more! We had a great experience with Lauren. Ours dogs were immediately comfortable with her. Lauren is excellent at communicating and sharing updates. We loved receiving so many pictures and videos, and being able to see our dogs having a good time. It was as if they had their own vacations with lots of walks, stimulation and snuggling. We would surely leave our dogs under Lauren’s care again.
