Hi, I’m Lauren. After moving from Boston to Chicago and being without my dog, I started pet sitting and volunteering at a local dog rescue. I’ve worked with all types of dogs, big, small, reactive, chill, playful, independent, and everything in between.

Schedule
I'm an early riser, available for walks as early as sunrise, and flexible in the evenings. Working from home also provides me with the advantage of being available for multiple walks and check-ins throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a pet-friendly building in Logan Square with an elevator, but if your dog prefers stairs, that’s totally fine, we can take them instead. At your house, I will make sure I’m comfortable with the layout and will stick to your usual routine.
A typical day
It all depends on the dog! Whether it's going for long walks around the neighborhood, playing fetch, people watching at the park, relaxing on a patio, or simply lounging on the couch, I'm adaptable.

- Ahead of time, I'll need to know what commands your dog responds to, if they have any allergies, their favorite way to play, and their typical daily routine. When it comes to walking, I'm comfortable using regular flat collars or harnesses. However, I'm also trained and experienced in using prong collars and e-collars if that's what you prefer.
