- Having grown up in a household full of pets, I have always cared for animals. My parents entrusted me with red-eared slider turtles, crayfish, fish, birds, and eventually, two cats and two German Shepherds. I have worked as a pet sitter for neighbors, family, friends, and on Rover, and I have volunteered for a non-profit walking rescue dogs. As someone with a soft spot for senior animals, I adopted two senior dogs and loved caring for them during our time together. - I'm comfortable caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and abilities. I have experience helping dogs eat if they're not feeling well and not interested in food. As my previous senior dog got older and developed glaucoma, I gained experience administering eye drops multiple times a day for months and helping him navigate the world after he eventually lost his vision. Since he was mostly deaf, I learned how to give commands to him as a blind and deaf dog. I also have experience administering medicine and subcutaneous fluids, and working with dogs with separation anxiety. - For dogs and cats who need a calming presence, we can chill together. However, I also like staying active and enjoy playing with dogs and cats when they're feeling playful or have the zoomies. - My place is a five-minute walk away from a park and the beach, where I would be happy to take your dog(s) for a walk. No animals live with me if your pet(s) prefer no competition for affection and attention. - I'll provide the pet sitting, dog walking, feeding, and care your pets need, with the love and attention they deserve, if you don't mind sharing your pet's company with me.

Lauren was amazing!! Very attentive to all of our instructions and super communicative the whole time with adorable photos! Our dog even had some questionable tummy issues and she went out of her way to handle it like a pro. Thank you so much! We would love to have you hang with Nugget again! :)
Lauren did a great job of taking care of my dog, I received lots of updates and my dog was happy. She also arrived and left at the agreed upon times.
Lauren was great! Towi and Maki really enjoyed their time with her. She sent us pictures of how they were doing and she was really kind when we were running late to pick them up. I will really recommend her :)
Lauren is the best! She is constantly keeping me updated and sends tons of cute photos of my dog's stay! She easily works with pick-up/drop-off schedule. Most of all, you can tell she absolutely adores dogs and even has the SWEETEST dog herself! Have already had her petsit twice, I would always ask her first before asking someone else.

I highly recommend Lauren as a responsible and loving dog caregiver. Lauren walked our elderly basset hound, Lola, two times per week for a year, until she recently moved. She also stayed with Lola overnight at our home for a week and a half while we were out of town. She was responsible, reliable, and trustworthy. We felt totally comfortable trusting Lauren to give Lola her multiple medications, monitor her health, and meet her needs. You would be lucky to have her in your dog's life :)

Schedule
During the week, I'm available to give walking breaks every 4 hours. However, we can discuss your pet's needs to make sure they get the number of breaks they need. My weekends are usually open.

. I prefer to meet my clients and their animals before the booking to make sure we're compatible and clarify any questions. . My home: I currently don't have animals in my home and live within a five-minute walk of a park and beach. . My client's home: I follow my client's instructions on how to keep their animal's comfortable at home. In the past, this has meant following the dog's sleeping, feeding, and medication schedule. For previous clients, I've also respected their rules on where their pet is and isn't allowed.
A typical day
I love exploring neighborhoods and going for walks. One of my favorite places to walk is at the nearby park and beach. If your dog is up for it, I'd love the furry company!
