I've been a dog lover and dog owner my entire life and currently share my home with my 2-year-old Mini Australian Labradoodle. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, walks, and care throughout the day. I love being active and am happy to take dogs on long walks and provide exercise and playtime for dogs who enjoy being active. At the same time, I understand that some dogs are true companion dogs who simply want to be close to their people. I'm happy to provide plenty of physical proximity, affection, cuddles, and companionship and will always pay attention to your dog's individual comfort level and personality. I also have experience administering medication and caring for dogs with different needs. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and anything that may help your dog feel safe and comfortable while you're away. I also have two dog-loving children, ages 9 and up, who have grown up around dogs and love giving them extra affection—while I will always be your dog's primary caregiver and responsible for their care. Most importantly, I genuinely love dogs and understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I would treat your dog with the same love, attentiveness, and care that I give my own.

Schedule
I work from home as a nutritionist and personal trainer, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Because I have a flexible schedule and am home throughout much of the day, I can provide regular potty breaks, walks, exercise, companionship, and plenty of attention. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, and I love having dogs as part of my day.

Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being will always be my top priorities. I believe every pet has different needs, so I take the time to learn about their routine, personality, preferences, and any special instructions before caring for them. In my home, dogs will be treated as part of the family and closely supervised. I will follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, exercise, and routines to help your dog feel comfortable and secure. When caring for pets in a client's home, I am respectful of both your home and your pet's routine. I will make sure they have fresh food and water, exercise and companionship as needed, and will always ensure doors and gates are secure and your pet is safe before leaving. We have a fenced in back yard.

A typical day
A typical day with me includes plenty of love, attention, fresh air, and fun! Depending on your dog's personality and energy level, we might go for a long walk, explore the neighborhood, play in the yard, or simply relax together. I love giving dogs opportunities to sniff and explore on walks, play with toys, get some exercise, and enjoy plenty of affection and cuddles. For dogs who are more laid-back or prefer companionship over activity, I'm just as happy to have them hang out with me while I work from home. My goal is to make your dog feel like they're part of the family while they're with me—with a balance of exercise, play, relaxation, and lots of love. Every dog is different, so I'll follow their cues and create a day that suits their personality and needs.

I also want to know about any medications, allergies, medical conditions, behavioral concerns, fears, or sensitivities I should be aware of. It's especially helpful to know how your pet does with other dogs, children, strangers, and new environments, as well as whether they have any escape tendencies, leash reactivity, resource guarding, or other behaviors I should be prepared for. I appreciate detailed instructions and will do my best to keep your pet's routine as consistent as possible while you're away.
