I work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule. I see clients via telehealth, so I am available outside of session times. I’m available most weekends. On weekdays, I’m most available on Mondays and Fridays. Other weekdays I’m mostly available in the morning hours.

Your dog’s trust is my top priority. When I meet or work with any pet, I meet them where they’re at emotionally and let them lead the introduction. I prioritize personal space for your pup based on their body language and do what I can to show them that I’m a safe human. That often involves letting them sniff me/my belongings, offering pats and/or treats and engaging them in play when they display readiness

A typical day
When I’m with your dog, I like to let them smell as much as they like on walks. I think if it as them reading the newspaper or scrolling their social media. I also love to play with dogs who enjoy it- everything from fetch to tug of war. If you’d like your dog to get some mental stimulation, I can bring a dog puzzle for them to use while I’m there :) Just lmk if you want me to bring one ahead of time

I am a dog lover who grew up with multiple dogs at a time. My childhood best friend now has a dog boarding, grooming and training business, and I have worked with her unofficially over the years. I’ve learned a lot about reading dogs’ body language and helping dogs regulate their emotions. I have experience training many behaviors from “sit” to crate training. I love spending time with dogs and am very patient with them, especially when they’re learning. I’d love to spend time with your pup, whether I’m popping over for a potty break or staying with them for multiple days.

Lauren went above and beyond watching and caring for Cody! She eased all nerves about leaving internationally for a long time, he seemed so well adjusted and very happy! Lauren took the time to take Cody out to play ball everyday - his favorite game! She was so great at keeping us updated with photos and updates, and even tidied up the house so nicely before leaving. We will definitely be using her again, have nothing but great things to say!
Lauren stayed at my apartment with my two dogs while I was away for about a week. She did an amazing job! She immediately made me feel comfortable during our meet and greet asking questions and was incredibly responsive whenever I reached out. It was so nice to have peace of mind while on our trip that both our dogs were being loved on and by the pictures and updates lauren sent they didn’t even notice we were gone! I will absolutely rebook with Lauren and would recommend her to anyone needing a dog sitter!
