I have had my current dog for over a year and we are training to become a Therapy Dog Team. I previously volunteered at Capital Humane Society for 6 months as an Adoption Counselor. I am currently volunteering at Great Lakes Dog Rescue. Growing up I helped take care of the family dog. I took Veterinary Science at the Henry Doorly Zoo in high school and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition and Exercise Science. I have experience in training and know how to give dogs vaccinations. I am also happy to provide a basic behavioral profile for your dog for future sittings.

I live in an apartment and walk my dogs almost daily. More than happy to do dog introductions before sitting. If it’s a house sitting, more than happy to keep the dogs fairly separate and will take my dog to my apartment instead of leaving the dogs alone. I will never leave my dog and your dog alone in the house.

Schedule
I'm currently working part-time in a clinic and in school. Outside of that I have an open schedule and am happy to make time to take care of dogs.

- Let me know about any behaviors that could be of concern. I have experience with reactive dogs and dogs I don’t know well. I do need somewhat of a behavior profile of the dog’s temperament and their reactions to people, animals and sudden stimuli. Providing a breed make up even just a guess will also help.
