Hi, I'm Lauren! While I am your primary pet sitter, my husband Kevin frequently accompanies me on house sittings, meet and greets, and sometimes drop-in visits. He loves animals just as much as I do, and having him along ensures your pet always has an extra set of hands and eyes on them for safety if I’m out at another drop in. I have been taking care of animals since I was 15. I would help friends, family, and neighbors with any pet sitting needs. That includes walks. I worked at a vet clinic for a year and volunteered at a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation so if there is any medication needed or special feeding requirements I am able to do that for you. I have worked with all sizes and types of dogs, from puppies to seniors so if there is any special request or requirements for your pets I’m always happy to help.

When taking care of my pets at home I try to keep up with nail trims, ear cleaning, measured out food, and play with them everyday. I make it my mission to make sure my animals are happy, healthy, and safe. Not only for my fur babies but for yours. I will always have instructions you give me written down so I know I’m doing everything correctly and to the T. I will always update you on anything that happens or changes. If you need me to text you when I show up and leave your house I will gladly do so. If you want me to text you with updates on anything at all I will gladly do so. If you crate your dogs for the night and want an update on when I put them up or let them out I can do that for you as well. I treat your pets like if they were my own. Their safety and happiness is my top priority. If they track in any dirt or mud into your house I will always clean it up that way you can come back to a clean home.

Schedule
My schedule is almost always free. I am making this my full time job so I’m able to pet sit any time. If I am watching someone’s pets on the days you need me I will gladly work to fit you in or talk about possible changes regarding what time I go in to feed, play, and walk them so that I can still take care of your animals. I will pet sit on holidays but I would appreciate at least a month's notice if possible more so for Christmas and Thanksgiving. Any other holiday 2 weeks notice is good.
