Attentive, Caring Dog Lover
I've been caring for dogs for over 15 years. I trained and raised my childhood rescue dog - a thirty pound hound, English pointer mix - from when he was a two-month old puppy. I've also dog sat for local families over the years, making sure the dogs are fed, have water, daily walks, and are happy and cared for while their owners are gone. I have experience working with small to large dogs, in addition to dogs with disabilities. I believe dogs' health and happiness are the most important and I will ensure your dog is safe and well cared for in your absence.

We’ve used Lauren a handful of times now for long weekends and she’s so great with our big dogs. They can be a lot to handle because one is excitable and the other is anxious but they both do great with Lauren. Highly recommend reaching out for your dog care needs

Schedule
Your dog or cat will have plenty of attention and be well cared for. While housesitting, I am able to stay with your pet for the majority of the day.

Safety, trust & environment
For boarding - I do have roommates who mostly keep to themselves but will occasionally play with the dogs. I have a small fenced in patio, and live a block from a park with green space. I make sure dogs are securely in their harnesses and leashes prior to leaving the house for a walk. I also open doors slowly to make sure pets feel comfortable as I enter and to give myself time to grab any runners.
A typical day
I love to keep pets active and entertained - whether that means practicing their training, playing fetch or with their favorite toy. I'm also a runner so I'm happy to run with active dogs.
