Animals are our passion
We have a lifetime of experience with many pets and farm animals. Both my husband and I grew up on farms learning how to care for animals of various ages. My husband continued his passion for animals by getting both a bachelor's degree and a Master's degree from the University of Illinois in Animal sciences. Together we are raising our children to learn how to take of care animals on our small farm.

Could not recommend Lauren more! She was great with our husky who needed some extra TLC while he was in a cone. She made every part of it super easy from drop off & pick up to the photos she shared while we were away.
Lauren was wonderful! Took great care of our dog, sent us updates and pictures each day, we will absolutely have Lauren watch our dog again in the future.

Lauren and family took great care of our energetic lab puppy again (this was our dog's second stay with Lauren and we will for sure book her again!). Schedule
I work remotely three days a week so during those days I can use my breaks and lunches to exercise our guests. This allows them to get plenty of fresh air and stretch their legs throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
Our 5-acre farm is unfenced but welcome those who like to use GPS collars. We have had great luck with clients that have those. We will spend most of our time in our four-car attached garage as it also has HVAC capabilities. This allows the dogs we keep to be able to move around and get a lot of exercise during their stay. When we do have animals over they are not let outside unsupervised, we will always have someone keeping an eye on them. We will only keep animals from one family at any given time. We do however have our own farm animals (goats and cats) on the property but do not allow our guests near them for both the safety of your pet as well as ours (note: the cats sometimes are a little harder to keep away).
A typical day
We like to play outside a lot. We love to go for walks in the country or just around the property. Playing fetch is another fun activity we like to do.
