I am Lauren, but most people call me Lo. I am a lover of all animals, especially dogs! I have had dogs my entire life. I am experienced in dog sitting, training, and walking dogs of many different sizes and breeds. I currently have two high energy border collies of my own. They mean the world to me so I will make sure to take just as great care and give just as much love to your dog(s) as I would my own. Walks: I love exploring new trails and neighborhoods in Portland. I would love to take your dog(s) on hikes or neighborhood walks. I have worked with dogs who had anxiety, leash aggression, stranger danger, etc. I am experienced in understanding cues when a dog is anxious or is about to become aggressive. When I see these cues, I use distraction, avoidance techniques, and positive reinforcement until the dog is safe and comfortable. If you are currently training your dog on walks, make sure to let me know what specific behaviors you are working on & how you are working through them. I would love to know how I can support you and your dog to keep things consistent for them on walks! If you would like to get to know me better before booking me for services, let's set up a free meet and greet through the rover app. I would be happy to come to your home to meet you and answer and questions you may have!

Lauren was awesome and quick to respond to my (very) last minute booking request for a dog walk. Even though I didn’t give much direction upfront, Lauren took the initiative and tackled some of the steepest terrain in the neighborhood and clearly prioritized exercising my dog. Schedule
My schedule is very open. I currently have a lot of free time to hang out with your pups, whether it’s a 30 minute drop-in, walk, or a longer day adventure, send me a request and I’ll let you know if I’m available :)
