Safety, trust & environment

I like to keep in-sync with the animal’s regular schedule as for bathroom time, feedings, and medications but also like to fill in the gaps with some fun! May that be walks, pets, brushing, or cuddles. The goal is to keep the pet as comfortable as possibly in their home while their humans are away.

Information Lauren L. would like to know about your pet

It’s crucial to know any special needs, disabilities, health concerns, and medications along with their veterinarian hospital number and consent for treatment if needed. Also knowing little quirks about your pet: what they like/don’t so much like, feeding habits, and bathroom habits.

A typical day

Nice quiet park walks are my favorite. If your dog likes something more active, frisbee and fetch are always crowd pleasers! If your pet lives a more sedentary lifestyle, cuddles and brushings may be more suitable.

Pet care experience

I graduated from the University of Connecticut with my bachelors in animal science and am currently studying veterinary medicine. I am very professional and respectable with a great love of animals. I have grown up with cats and dogs around me, learned how to adapt to behaviors, and how to handle each one, protecting each other's safety. I have experience with disabled dogs and have administered insulin and other injectable medications. In addition to experience with cats and dogs I have also cared for horses, pigs, and chickens! I am well versed in veterinary medicine and know CPR should your fur-baby have an emergency. I will always look out for the well being of your pet. I love to groom, pamper, and play with animals! It would be my pleasure to look after your little loved one!

Lauren was great, came to meet us ahead of time to meet our furry friend and learn the routine. Our pup was happy to make a new buddy, and all planning helped to make our experience a positive one! Plan to schedule more with Lauren in the future as we need her.
