I mostly work from home, so I have lots of time to take care of your dog! I'll be able to make sure they get lots of attention throughout the day. I also love to stay active, so I will be happy to take your dog on long walks around the neighborhood. I can take them on runs with me too if that's something they are used to doing.

I live in an area that's perfect for dog-walking. My apartment is small, so it may not be the best fit for large or super high-energy dogs, but it’s pretty quiet throughout the day, and in the warmer weather I can take your dog to sit on the balcony with me and get some fresh air and people-watch. My partner and I have two cats and a young dog named Pepper. She’s very sweet and friendly with other dogs. Although our house has pocket doors to keep animals separated if needed, I prefer to only accommodate dogs that are friendly with other animals.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors to watch out for. I will also need to know that your dog is up to date on all vaccinations due to the other animals in the house. I am unable to board any dogs that are not housetrained, that are prone to accidents, or that can not be left alone for any amount of time. Your dog must be friendly with other dogs and cats.
A typical day
We will start out the day with a nice walk around the block, taking lots of time to smell all of the smells. I will be in the house working all day, so your dog will have lots of company and attention. If your dog likes to move around, we can take another walk around noon and explore new parts of the neighborhood, or if they're more low-energy, we can take lots of cuddle breaks. I can also make some treat-mats and food puzzles to make sure your dog gets extra mental stimulation too! I’m also a big fan of different recall games if you’d like me to add that into your pets day.

Pet care experience
I've taken care of a variety of animals since I was a kid. I grew up with dogs, rodents, and reptiles, and spent many years working at a barn. I've had several dogs throughout my life, and used to pet-sit for neighbors and family. I had two sweet senior dogs that passed away over the last two years, so I have a lot of experience with older dogs, and I now have a 1.5 year old pup who I work with daily!
